From about the age of 12, I knew I wanted to make noise. I didn't know what that would look like yet, but I knew I wanted to spend my life creating something people could feel. When I discovered recording and mixing, everything clicked. In November 2020, I founded Bakery Records with one simple goal:

To help people tell stories through music.

 

One thing that has shaped the way I work is synaesthesia.

When I hear music, I don't just hear it, I see it.

Textures.

Colours.

Movement.

For years I thought everyone experienced music this way. It wasn't until my twenties that I realised they didn't. Since then, I've been fascinated by translating those images into sound, hoping the listener might experience a little of what I see.

I don't think of Bakery Records as just a studio. I think of it as an art gallery. A place to frame stories through sound.

 

I'm not interested in signing artists. I'd rather partner with them. Whether we work together for an afternoon or several years, my role is always the same: to understand the story you're trying to tell and help bring it to life as authentically as possible.
