Every piece of music begins as something intangible: an idea, a feeling, a story waiting to be told. Founded in London in November 2020, Bakery Records exists to give those moments a place to grow. It is a creative environment where inspiration becomes tangible, where artists, engineers and producers work together to shape music that remains true to the feeling that inspired it. We believe great records are not manufactured; they are discovered through trust, collaboration and a shared commitment to the creative process.

 

At the heart of Bakery Records are four principles that shape everything we do:

 

Creation:

Every project begins with possibility. The studio exists as a sanctuary where ideas can evolve freely, allowing invisible sparks of inspiration to become music that connects with people. Our role is not to impose a sound, but to help artists discover their own.

 

Collaboration:

The greatest records are built through human connection. Every session is a conversation between artist, engineer, producer and performer, each contributing their perspective to something greater than themselves. The technology matters, but the relationships matter more.

 

Candour:

We don't chase perfection—we pursue authenticity. Music is at its most powerful when it captures something real. The imperfections, vulnerability and emotion within a performance are often the very qualities that give a record its lasting impact. Our aim is to preserve that honesty while crafting work of the highest professional standard.

 

Chronicles:

Every record leaves behind more than a finished mix. It leaves photographs, conversations, ideas and memories that become part of a much larger story. Bakery Records documents the creative process as carefully as the music itself, creating an archive where sound can be seen, felt and remembered. Our approach combines vintage analogue equipment with modern production techniques, bringing together warmth, precision and clarity to create soundscapes that invite the listener to imagine as much as they hear. Every decision, from microphone placement to the final mix, is made with one intention:
